Zimsko štetje vodnih ptic – IWC tudi na Kozjanskem
Sredi januarja že vrsto let po vsej severni polobli poteka zimsko štetje vodnih ptic – IWC, ki ga v Sloveniji koordinira DOPPS. Prostovoljci hkrati pregledamo vse odseke rek, jezer, ribnikov in morsko obalo. Tako dobimo dobre podatke o vrstah vodnih ptic, ki prezimujejo pri nas ter njihovem številu.

Bobri živijo na Sotli
There are no translations available.Leta 1998 so bile na Radulji, pritoku Krke pod Škocjanom, prvič po več stoletjih opažene sledi bobrov - obglodano in podrto obrežno drevje. Danes živijo po celem porečju Krke na Dolenjskem, Kolpe in Lahinje v Beli Krajini, Drave in Mure na Štajerskem. Že nekaj let (prvič l. 2005) so sledi opažene tudi na Sotli.
In od kje so bobri prišli? V južni Sloveniji so bobri posledica naselitve na hrvaškem Lonjskem polju...

How to get here?
| Kozjanski Park lies in the eastern Slovenia, on the south of Styria and along the Croatian border. You can come to Kozjanski Park from Styria (taking the highway exit Dramlje when travelling from Ljubljana or the highway exit Slovenska Bistrica when travelling from Maribor) or from Dolenjska (exit Krško or Brežice).
