It connects Kozje with the peak of Vetrnik (709m), starting at St. Mary’s Church in Kozje. The trail continues past the Kozje Castle and climbs up the slope of Kozjak to \u017dupanov breg, as the slope below the summit is called by locals, and the summit of Vetrnik. In May and June, we are already accompanied by a wide variety of grassland plants along the way, and the exceptional diversity of the meadow is particularly evident on \u017dupanov breg, where we can admire as many as 12 species of orchids or wild orchids in a single day. In late spring and early summer, the meadow is full of colourful flowers of unusual shapes and names, with butterflies, locusts and crickets flying among the flowers. Around the meadow, there are signs describing the features of the living world here.<\/p>

At the top, there is a stamp, a registration book and binoculars, and you can rest on the love bench to the sounds of the wind harp. The magnificent views stretch all the way to the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Peca, Pohorje, Bo\u010d, Dona\u010dka gora, Kalnik, Croatian Zagorje, and towards Gorjanci and Sne\u017enik.<\/p>
