CARJEVIČ TITLE

The most caring owner of a meadow orchard for the current year receives the Carjevič title, which has been awarded since 2009.

The owner who receives the highest number of points according to the Kozjanski Park commission is declared Carjevič of the Year during the Kozjansko Apple Festival. He or she is enthroned on a stone fruit-growing throne, which stands by the Kozjanski Park administration and was created by local artist Franci Černelč.

The Carjevič title is a recognition that the owner of a meadow orchard is bestowed for his or her care and effort, and also as an incentive to continue maintaining the orchard.

So far, the following caring “fruit growers” have been awarded the Carjevič title:
