EXPLORE KOZJANSKO PARK

The Kozjansko Regional Park is one of the oldest and largest protected areas in Slovenia. 

The protected area covers 206km², has the status of a regional park, and spreads over five municipalities: Kozje, Bistrica ob Sotli, Podčetrtek, Brežice, and Krško.

With its varied landscape, Kozjansko Park is interesting to visitors in all seasons. In spring, flowering avenues, orchards and meadows beckon, in summer, numerous park activities and events attract visitors, in autumn, the traditional Kozjansko Apple Festival is known wide and far, and in winter, there is peace of unspoilt nature.
