KOZJANSKO REGIONAL PARK

We organise a number of activity days for different levels of education (preschool, primary and secondary), using thematic trails, natural values, cultural heritage, and current phenomena in the field. This is how we bring nature closer to young people in a direct, interesting, and different manner. They gain a wealth of experience on how to visit and observe nature. The content is individually coordinated with the teachers and adapted to the age of the children and the curriculum for the specific level of education.

Content:

  • biodiversity and protected area

Project days for secondary education

In cooperation with educational institutions at secondary level, we work with teachers to develop tailor-made programmes for individual educational institutions. The focus is on the protected and biosphere area, the emphasis is on the natural environment, but it is important to remember that humans are also part of nature and their activities that affect nature are not negligible.

The project days are designed in an interdisciplinary way. The teachers and professional staff of the operator are involved. This gives students the opportunity to learn and develop their understanding of the basic concepts and relationships and the complex interconnections that sustain and influence systems in the environment from a variety of perspectives, enabling them to holistically understand and address the complex interrelationships between nature, society and economics. They link the natural sciences, social sciences, and economics.
