ENVIRONMENTAL DAYS
Environmental days, declared by the United Nations and global organisations to draw attention to the threats to habitats, species and the importance of their conservation, are an important means of disseminating knowledge about nature, natural processes, and raising awareness of nature conservation.
Earth Day
In spring, we launch a literary competition for primary schools within the biosphere zone, with the theme of the importance of the diversity of life – species, habitats. Since 2010, when the biosphere area was declared, we have held 13 literary competitions.
Animal Day
The environmental day is dedicated to learning about different animal species, with a focus on those that are protected and need special care. The aim is to teach students in an innovative way about the basic biology and ecology of each species, and the appropriate ways to handle or manage them.
