NATURE-SCIENCE CAMPS AND WORKSHOPS – Young Guardian of Nature
The implementation of the “Young Guardian of Nature” programme contributes to the identification and dissemination of good practices for sustainable development and the recognition of the biosphere area. The programme runs during the summer holidays as part of the nature science research workshops. Participants learn about the laws of nature and the basics of research in the field. This fosters children’s positive attitudes towards natural processes, animals, plants, and people. Children learn how to navigate in nature, and make objects from natural materials, such as habitats for pollinators, birds and bats. Above all, the aim is to learn to have a positive attitude towards nature and to become good observers.
